Students heading to Singapore for ‘internship’ GO! Trip

At the end of May, a group of 16 students will travel to Singapore for five weeks to learn about being Christians in the marketplace and being a part of the local church. The trip, led by students Matthew Radmilovich and Ella Chung under the oversight of TMU provost, Dr. Mitch Hopewell, is the first trip sent by TMU to Singapore.

Bolen leads students on annual hike through Fish Canyon Narrows

The Bible department hosted its third annual hike through Fish Canyon Narrows near Castaic on Tuesday—also known as Senior Test Day. The group of 16, led by Dr. Todd Bolen, professor of Bible exposition, included 13 TMU students and Bolen’s two sons, nearly half the size of last year’s hike, which consisted of 31 hikers.

How campus security keeps canyon homes protected 

The addition of canyon homes to the TMU campus has created new challenges to overcome.On Jan. 21, there was a “burglary,” where some A.V. equipment taken from the Spurgeon canyon home garage next to the MacArthur Center.

On Saturday, April 5, the Paul T. Plew School of Music will be holding its annual Chorale fundraiser. The Chorale, directed by Dr. Marius Bahnean, is hosting the fundraiser to garner funds for their upcoming summer tour of the West Coast in May.

Varner, Hegg to release new commentary on Matthew

Bible professors Dr. William Varner and Dr. David Hegg have partnered together to write a new academic commentary on the book of Matthew, titled Matthew’s Messiah: His Jewish Life and Ministry, expected to be released near the end of this summer, 2025.
