School of Music to host Chorale fundraiser on Saturday

Apr 2 - Katherina Arcos

On Saturday, April 5, the Paul T. Plew School of Music will be holding its annual Chorale fundraiser. The Chorale, directed by Dr. Marius Bahnean, is hosting the fundraiser to garner funds for their upcoming summer tour of the West Coast in May.

The fundraiser will be a variety show, from 3:30-5:00 pm. Members of the Chorale will perform at least 10 different acts, ranging from musical theater acts, instrumental vocal pieces and anything related to pop and classical. The Chorale, as a whole, will also perform a few songs.

“I’m really looking forward to having people in the room and seeing their reactions. Every show is better with an audience. It’s always an honor to have an audience, whenever we’re entitled to one. I’m excited to see who shows up,” said Katie Ostini, the Chorale’s vice president and main planner of the fundraiser.

This tour will be the second tour led by Dr. Bahnean, marking his second year directing the Chorale.

General admission tickets are $23.02 and can be found on the provided link. All proceeds go towards the tour funds.
