Baseball

Mar. 28 vs. Ottawa University (DH): Game 1 Win, 13-8

The Master's University baseball team took game one of four against Ottawa University behind a strong start from Carson Knapp at Lou Herwaldt Stadium.  Knapp threw six innings, giving up just one earned run on four hits.  Three Mustangs had multiple hits, and the offense scored its 13 runs on 11 hits.  For a full recap, visit this link.

Game 2 Loss, 8-0

TMU was shut out in game two loss against OUAZ At Lou Herwaldt Stadium.  Scotty Pieper and Jacob Kowes were the lone bright spots for the Mustangs, as the centerfielder and designated hitter both tallied two-hit performances.  For a full recap, visit this link.

Mar. 29 vs. Ottawa University (DH): Game 1 Loss, 13-4

The Master's University dropped game three by a score of 13-4 against Ottawa University at Lou Herwaldt Stadium.  Scotty Pieper tallied his first collegiate home run in the Mustangs’ losing effort.  For a full recap, visit this link.

Game 2 Win, 1-0

Scotty Pieper and Carson Ohl starred in the TMU’s game four win against OUAZ at Lou Herwaldt Stadium.  Ohl’s complete game shutout and Pieper’s solo shot in the third inning powered the Mustangs to a much-needed victory and series split to keep them in fourth place in the GSAC standings.  For a full recap, visit this link.

Men’s Volleyball

Mar. 28 at Ottawa University: Win, 3-0

The Master's University men's volleyball improved their record to 17-0, sweeping OUAZ at Faith Arena in Surprise, Ariz.  TMU held the Spirit to just a .027 hitting percentage on the night.  Conversely, the Mustangs hit .310 as a team and also added nine service aces.  For a full recap, visit this link.

Mar. 29 at Arizona Christian University: Win, 3-0

TMU continued their perfect season with a sweep of Arizona Christian University at the Firestorm Recreation Center in Glendale, Ariz. Trace Oswald, Braden Van Groningen, and Isaac Seltzer all tallied double-digit kills in the commanding Mustang victory.  For a full recap, visit this link.

Men’s Golf

The Battle Results:

The Master's University men's golf team finished in 7th place in The Battle at Laughlin Ranch Golf Club in Bullhead City, Ariz.  Jonathan Larson and Jacob Janho both finished T-16th at 10-over par for the tournament.  For a full recap, visit this link.

Beach Volleyball

Mar. 29 at Concordia University Irvine: Loss, 5-0

The Sandy Stangs were swept by Concordia University Irvine at Great Park in Irvine, Calif.  It was a match to forget for the team as a whole, as the Mustangs did not even manage to take a set.  There is no recap available for this event.

Mar. 29 vs. Texas A&M University-Kingsville: Loss, 3-2

The Sandy Stangs were unable to come away with a victory against Division II Texas A&M University-Kingsville at Great Park in Irvine, Calif.  The ones pairing of Annika Gudnason and Evi Roberts and threes pairing of Grace Colburn and Violet Avila were responsible for the two victories for TMU.  There is no recap available for this event.
