May 2 - Zach Jenkins

Men’s Volleyball

The men’s volleyball team (24-0, 10-0) enters the national tournament with a perfect record, a GSAC regular season title and a GSAC Conference Tournament title. They have been the top-ranked team all year in the NAIA and will be the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament. Six Mustangs were named to the GSAC All-Conference Team: Braden Van Groningen, Trace Oswald, Isaac Seltzer, Preston Schmidt, Bryce Jones and Max McCullough. Additionally, Oswald won GSAC Freshman of the Year, and Van Groningen was named GSAC Player of the Year and NAIA Player of the Year.

Women’s Beach Volleyball

The women’s beach volleyball team (17-14, 10-2) finished its best season in program history with a quarter final exit in the national tournament. The sandy Stangs were ranked fifth in the final NAIA national poll. Violet Avila, Grace Colburn, Annika Gudnason, Evi Roberts and Faith Wada all received GSAC All-Conference honors.

Baseball

The baseball team (30-19, 11-13) has more than likely finished its season after being knocked out of the GSAC postseason tournament. The team ranked as high as 25th in the nation earlier this year. Austin Young, Ty Beck and Carson Ohl recieved GSAC All-Conference honors.

Men’s and Women’s Track and Field

The men’s track team won the GSAC title, while the women’s team took second. On the men’s side, Caleb Pouliot won GSAC’s Overall Athlete of the Year. For the women, Hannah Fredericks was named GSAC’s Track Athlete of the Year. The Mustangs have one more meet before heading to Marion, Ind. for nationals from May 21-23.

Men’s and Women’s Golf

The men’s golf team placed third in the GSAC Championship Tournament and will likely earn a bid in the NAIA national tournament, which starts on May 20. They were ranked No. 12 heading into the tournament. They recorded three wins on the year as a team, but none during the spring portion of their season. Jonathan Larson recorded six wins in his nine starts, earning a spot on the All-GSAC Team, as well as being named GSAC Player of the Year. Jacob Janho was named GSAC Freshman of the Year and made the All-GSAC Team. Seth Bishop was also named to the All-GSAC Team.

The women’s golf team finished their season at the GSAC Championship Tournament, placing fifth. They did not win any tournaments as a team in the fall or spring sessions. Hannah Ulibarri was the lone star for the Mustangs, collecting two wins, being named to the GSAC All-Conference Team, and winning GSAC Player of the Year. Ulibarri is also expected to be an individual participant in the women's national tournament.

Men’s and Women’s Swim

The men’s and women’s swim teams captured the first-ever GSAC Conference Championship titles, respectively, and both finished eighth at the National Championships. Freshman Katherine Dyer captured two women’s individual national titles: the 200m individual medley and 400m individual medley.

Men’s Basketball

The men’s basketball team (26-6, 12-2) finished its year with a second-round exit in the national tournament. They were the number three seed in their region and a host for the first and second rounds. They won the regular season GSAC title and also finished runner-up in the GSAC Tournament. Kendall Moore earned GSAC All-Conference Team honors. Kaleb Lowery earned a slew of awards: GSAC All-Conference Team, GSAC Player of the Year, NAIA First Team All-American and the 2025 Trevor Hudgins Award.

Women’s Basketball

The women’s basketball team (19-9, 10-4) finished its season with a first-round exit in the National Tournament. They finished second in the GSAC standings and won the GSAC Conference Tournament. Lexi Hernandez and Marin Lenz were both named to the GSAC All-Conference Team.
